How do you create your strengths? The ‘two’ basics for creating your strengths and differentiating yourself.

How do you create your strengths? The ‘two’ basics for creating your strengths and differentiating yourself.

Hello. This is Kamiyama.

Whether it's a side business or starting a company, if you start a business, you will definitely need a strength.
You need to create strengths and attractions that are unique to your own services or products.
In other words, it's what is often called differentiation.

What are the strengths of your business?
What will become attractive?
How can you differentiate your products and services?

If you launch at a point where no strengths have been considered at all, the effect will be minimal.
It's like forcing people to buy something they don't need to choose.

The strength of a business, in the case of an individual, is almost the same as their personal strength.
Usually, people leverage their own strengths to start a side business or a company.
That's why creating your own strengths also leads to the strengths of your business.
Differentiation between yourself and others becomes the differentiation of your products and services.

Even so, if you search online, there are many ways to 'find your strengths'.
Like analysis methods and such, to find your aptitudes, inaptitudes, and characteristics.
But there isn't much talk about 'how to create your strengths'.
It doesn't seem to be searched for much either.

Are people in the world bad at creating their own strengths?
That's why they have to do troublesome things like 'how to find your strengths'.

It's better to have strengths, so you should create them from the beginning.
If you anticipate the effort of searching and create them from the beginning, it would be easier later.
There's no need to worry about your strengths.

But I've strayed a bit from the topic.

Today, I'll talk about how to build your strengths.
Your strength is what differentiates you from others.
The smaller the scale, the more your strengths act as a significant differentiator.
By building your strengths, please use them to differentiate your products and services.

There are two basic points you should keep in mind.
If you keep these two ways of thinking in mind, your strengths should take shape.
By all means, let's create your own strengths and put them into practice.

Thoroughly and deeply learning and practicing some knowledge creates your strengths.

People often can't do this, can they?
It's a fundamental basic, but thoroughly learning something is difficult.

However, if you learn thoroughly, expertise emerges, and it becomes your strength.
Expertise is an excellent differentiator between yourself and others, and for products and services.

It's very easy to be able to create strengths just by learning, isn't it?
Because all you have to do is learn.
Strengths are born if you learn thoroughly, so why don't people learn?
That's what I find very questionable.

Expertise gained after thorough learning becomes a great strength for you.
Furthermore, once you've thoroughly learned one thing, you will increase your areas of expertise to two, three, and so on.

In this day and age, having only one specialization is not a complete strength.
If you thoroughly learn two specializations and make them your strengths, life will suddenly become much easier.

For me, it's website creation, marketing, and entrepreneurship methods.
For now, I am thoroughly studying these three as my strengths.
With just this, products and services are greatly differentiated.

There's also English, but English is still halfway there.
I need to study more.

In the Cebu Island business I previously sold, I dealt with 'English, website creation, and business'.
That's because I had three specializations.
If I had only one specialization, I wouldn't have been able to greatly differentiate the service.

Website creation alone was a bit weak, but after learning marketing, my world changed.
If you are a web designer who can generate sales through websites, the demand is enormous.
This means you'll be able to use the magic of growth hacking by yourself.
I will talk about growth hacking again at a later time.

If you incorporate entrepreneurial knowledge into that, you can create any business by yourself.

On the other hand, with practical studies, there are aspects where simply learning thoroughly is not enough.
Practical studies refer to knowledge that can be used in actual side jobs or entrepreneurship.

This is because practical studies are not enough with just learning; you need to gain experience and build achievements.
While it becomes your strength as knowledge, practical study is about actually taking action.

In the world of practical studies, talking only about theoretical arguments is completely meaningless.
The website creation and marketing I've learned are also practical studies.

It's just annoying when someone with no experience talks next to you, saying 'this is how it is'.
That's why it's important to 'try it yourself'.

Only by actually trying, researching, and practicing it yourself, does trust in knowledge emerge.
Only with proof that you've successfully 'done it' through practice, does it become your strength.

I myself have also experimented a lot.
Even now, I am still on my way to honing my strengths by repeating experiments daily.

To build your strengths, first, study thoroughly and acquire knowledge.
If it's practical study, it means repeatedly practicing while studying and verifying knowledge.
How you cultivate your strengths in this way will have a significant impact later on.

Challenging many things and understanding your aptitudes and inaptitudes builds your strengths.

I often see 'methods' for understanding one's strengths and aptitudes/inaptitudes.
Strength analysis methods, etc., often appear when you search.
However, there's an even more convenient way to analyze your strengths.
Moreover, you can grow significantly and develop your core.

It's about trying many different things and realizing what you enjoyed the most.

Not knowing your strengths is due to an overwhelming lack of action.
If you just try many different things, your path will eventually become clear.
Like, 'I really want to live this kind of life'.
Or, 'I tried many things, but this really suits me'.
When you reach out in many directions, you eventually settle on one place.

I also dabbled in many different things.
What I ultimately feel suits me is creating my own business and monetizing it.
I am good at "creating something from scratch and monetizing it".

And at a fast pace.

At first, I didn't know what my strengths were.
That's why I tried many different things.
As a result, I merely settled into my current position.

I really dislike working under someone or doing uninteresting things.
I want to initiate exciting things as I think of them myself.

Also, I felt that the role of expanding something already created didn't have to be me.
That's why I was attracted to mastering "monetization from scratch".
Now, I continuously challenge myself to create new businesses and monetize them.

That's why differentiation is born.

If you want to find your strengths, you should thoroughly take action.
Your strengths are built as a culmination of your experiences.
Each time you challenge yourself, your actions gradually get closer to your true essence.
As a result, your strengths remain in an enhanced form.

By trying many paths, you are sifting through them.
If you don't know which path suits you, you just have to try them all.
It is precisely the number and speed of challenges that ultimately create your strengths.

Thoroughly learning and continuously challenging yourself creates your strengths.

You won't find your strengths by just thinking or relying on analytical methods.
Even if you find strengths that way, it will ultimately only be a temporary comfort.

While you are racking your brain at your desk, you should gain knowledge and experience as quickly as possible.
Repeat challenges and at a fast pace, select your path.
Continue challenging yourself, think a lot at the same time, and the path that remains as a result is your strength.

The key is how quickly you start that challenge.
The sooner, the better.
Strike while the iron is hot; if you are serious about building your strengths, you should start right now.

What on earth do I truly like?
Given my personality and characteristics, what am I most likely to be interested in?
You need to learn quickly and challenge yourself at the fastest pace.
Ultimately, that action will create your strengths and realize your ideals.

Furthermore, this way of thinking and method is also important when starting a business as a side job or entrepreneurship.

Formulate hypotheses, act quickly, and repeat failures and successes at the fastest pace.
While gradually changing direction, create the most marketable products and services.
The way to find your strengths and the way to achieve success in entrepreneurship are the same, aren't they?
It might even be called a method for success in life.

If you are serious about building your strengths early.
Please thoroughly try the two things we discussed today.
You should find the strength that suits you best.
