Times have changed. What is the reason why people whose opinions change “should be trusted”?

Times have changed. What is the reason why people whose opinions change “should be trusted”?

There's something I've always felt.

Somehow, successful people, every time I meet them, their opinions and perspectives change.
That's why people around them get swayed, but despite that, they succeed.

If you think about it carefully, you realize that it's actually more unnatural for opinions not to change.
Because the way the world is, is constantly changing.

Social values are changing faster than we can imagine.
And people must adapt to change.
In such an era, there's no way you can survive by sticking to the same opinions and values.

As long as you have a vision, other opinions can change as much as they want.

However, there is one commonality among successful people.
No matter how much their opinions change, their vision and philosophy do not.

I want to realize this kind of world. I want to create this kind of society.
Only their unique guiding principle never wavers.
Changing opinions and approaches to achieve their vision and philosophy.
That is probably the way to survive in modern society.

The approach and process towards a goal, adapting to changes in times and society.
The mindset of successful people is always adapting to the times faster than others.
That's why they can accurately grasp the times and always choose a path that understands society.

It is precisely because one accurately adapts to change that one grasps success.
As a consequence, it appears that their opinions change every time.

Of course, there will be people who are not like that.

Or simply forgetting what they said before.
There are indeed foolish people who change their way of thinking and opinions based on their mood.
Certainly, people who are dragged along by that will become unhappy.

If they changed their opinion looking to the future, no matter how much what they say changes, it should be accepted.

However, if opinions change because one sensitively perceives social changes, then it's a different matter.
Even if it means being swayed around a lot, if one does not adapt, there will be no future.

Is the person you intended to trust simply changing their opinions meaninglessly and swaying those around them?
Or are they moving by sensitively reacting to the times? Let's try to understand.
Let's examine whether they are uttering words adapted to the times.

Is it "opinions changed and cannot be trusted"?
Or is it "adapting to the times and changing opinions"?

If you look closely, you should be able to discern.

Furthermore, from the perspective of the one discerning, it is necessary to show consideration so that those around can properly follow.
No matter how much an individual adapts to the times, if those around cannot keep up, it is meaningless.
One must consider whether the people around can properly accept one's words.

Not everyone can flexibly adapt to social changes.
One must not boast that "what I say changes every time because I am adapting to the changes of the times."
We need to create a system that allows everyone to gain understanding.

In the past, there was a belief that once you started something, you should stick with it forever.
Or that you should never change an opinion once expressed.
There was even a time when the act of sticking to a single opinion was glorified.

However, that was because changes in times and values were slow.

Times are evolving so rapidly that you can't keep up by saying the same things.

Since the spread of the internet and numerous innovations.
The speed at which new values permeate society has been accelerating.

Many people have probably heard the term 'singularity'.
Eventually, an era will come when new values and technologies will permeate society at a remarkably faster pace.

In a world on the verge of such a singularity, if you keep sticking to one opinion or value.
You will quickly be left behind by the times and unable to adapt to change.

What should be adhered to are 'visions' and 'principles', not opinions or values.

It will increasingly become a world where you don't know what to believe.
Many people must have noticed that the world of three years ago and the world of today are completely different.

At such times, the only thing you can believe in is your own standards.
Thinking for yourself about how you perceive current society and how you can adapt to changes.
If you constantly rely on someone else's opinions or actions, you will lose sight of what to believe.

Hold firm judgment criteria within yourself and discern how the world is changing.
It is necessary to form opinions, values, and take actions that adapt to change.

It's become quite a difficult world to understand, hasn't it?
Let's always assess the present and walk firmly on our own feet.
