How to Gather Prospective Customers! A Comprehensive Explanation of Website Traffic Generation ‘Tips’.

How to Gather Prospective Customers! A Comprehensive Explanation of Website Traffic Generation ‘Tips’.

Today, we will explain 'tips for attracting customers using your website'.
Literally, if you want to be able to attract customers through your website, please refer to this.

First, nothing can begin without customers.
A website, if used properly, becomes a significant channel for continuously attracting customers.

To gather customers, you first need to create a list of potential customers.
However, in most cases, people get stuck here.

So, how should we gather potential customers?
Many people have no idea and get lost.

This time, I would like to share the classic method that I recommend.
Please give it a try.

Start a blog within your website.

First, please start one blog.
Rental blogs like Ameblo or FC2 are fine, but the best is WordPress.

WordPress is a system for creating 'original blogs'.
You need to rent a server and install it yourself.

Many sites in the world boasting high access numbers are built with WordPress.
Moreover, the appeal of WordPress is not just that it can create blogs.
Later on, you can add inquiry forms, customize it, and do various other things.
That flexibility is precisely what can be called the appeal of WordPress.

If its flexibility, or rather, customizability, is excellent, a mere blog can be changed according to the situation.
Even a simple blog can have various features added.
For example, you can add a login function, or a communication function between users.
You can add a read receipt function, or customize what percentage of the whole has been read.
It might even be possible to change it into a small e-learning system.
However, even if you want to add some features, rental blogs are inflexible.

Later on, requests like 'I want to implement that kind of measure' or 'I want to carry out this kind of strategy' will definitely arise.
With WordPress, you can customize it freely.
A blog that can be changed according to the situation, and a blog that cannot.
It's clear which one will be able to provide value later on, isn't it?

By the way, it's even more effective to include the blog function within your website.
If you use a rental blog like Ameblo, the URL will always change.
In other words, you have to operate it on completely separate websites.
With this, you must click on a link in the text to navigate to the website.
This adds one extra click.

What if there was a blog within your website?
For example, if it's a restaurant's website, you would create a section within it that can be updated.

Then, you can immediately transition to the main content from the navigation.
Since you can design it as you like, you can also create a flow that allows immediate inquiries if someone is interested.
As the number of pages and content increases, it will also become stronger for SEO.
This is possible if you use WordPress.
If you attract people with a blog and they then view your website, you can efficiently attract customers.

How to design the path from your blog to inquiries.
This can be called the first tip for website customer acquisition.

Attract customers by writing high-quality articles on your website's blog.

Once you've set up your blog, next you write articles.
The content of your articles should be centered around 'articles that resonate with your target customers'.
The key is to write information that potential customers are seeking.

For example, let's say you want to sell 'futons'.
Then, on your blog, thoroughly discuss 'the profoundness of futons'.

Your articles should contain content that solves problems and answers questions for people considering purchasing futons.
It's meaningless if the content isn't something 'people interested in futons want to read'.

Also, if you want to sell water, write 'articles that people who want to buy water want to read'.
If you want to sell flowers, write 'articles that people who want to buy flowers want to read'.
Articles sought by potential customers will lead to attracting them to your website.

Here's another tip.
The blog's theme should be extremely simple.
For example, it's something like 'Futon Pro Teaches! Futon Information for Sound Sleep!'

It's best to have something overwhelmingly easy to understand regarding what will be delivered.
Including specific keywords like 'sound sleep' is also one of the techniques.

Also, let's consider content that directly leads to product purchases.
For example, if you want to sell futons but teach "how to sleep well," it's unlikely to lead to results.
What kind of futons are there? What new technologies are there in the futon industry?

Please write "information directly related to the product" as if you were talking about the product's unique features.
Even if you provide roundabout information, it will ultimately be difficult to link it to a purchase.
If it's an article related to the product's content, you can create a mechanism that leads to a purchase.

Register on social networks and distribute videos, photos, articles, etc.

Once you start writing articles, the next step is social networks.
To attract customers with your homepage, you need to have pathways everywhere.
Increasing the number of entry points is one of the tips.

X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook Page.
TikTok, Threads, and for videos, YouTube.

Let's create accounts on famous social networks.
And please install all apps on your smartphone.
On your computer, too, organize your bookmarks so you can open them anytime.
If anything happens, be ready to upload words or photos immediately.

However, not all social networks are used in the same way.

X (formerly Twitter) and Threads are launched in a spontaneous moment to upload words and photos.
It's good to update Instagram Stories whenever you think of it.
Let's increase the update frequency as much as possible.

On the other hand, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube are a bit different.
It is necessary to create thorough content before distributing it.
Among these, it is highly recommended to convert blog articles into various media and post them.

For example, Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts allow you to upload short videos.
It would be good to cut out a part of a blog, an impressive story, turn it into a video, and upload it.
It's fine for someone to speak, or for multiple people to act out the content.

In the case of YouTube, upload longer videos instead of short videos.
The length of one video can be any number of minutes, as long as it is appropriate for that video.
Even on SNS, the usage differs for each, so please be careful.

Also, the user demographics for each SNS are different.
There are some differences in age, user base, personality, etc.

For example, X (formerly Twitter) is used by people of all ages with a high update frequency.
However, it seems there are many people with a slightly geeky nature and those leaning towards the business sector.
Facebook is for middle to older age groups, and the business sector.
Instagram is also for all age groups, but it is used more by the general public.
These are people with average attributes, not geeks or professionals like on X (formerly Twitter).
TikTok is for young people, but recently, there seem to be many older users as well.

Let's refine the posting methods while being mindful of each user demographic.
Understand the nature of the platform and distribute with the target in mind.

Boost customer acquisition with advertising.

Basically, if you continue the above, you will gradually be able to attract customers to your website.
It can be said that how persistently you can build up is the key to website traffic generation.

However, those who want to achieve results as quickly as possible will use "advertising".

Among these, the cheapest way to attract customers is Facebook Ads.
Let's try running Facebook Ads for about 1,000 yen per day, or 30,000 yen per month, and see how it goes.
If you can get one "Like!" for roughly 100 yen or less, that's decent.
If it's 50 yen or less, it has potential as a medium.

By collecting Likes!, you will be able to freely deliver information to users.
Likes! on a Facebook Page have the same value as member registrations or a simple customer list.
Depending on how you use them, they may demonstrate even greater value.

Google Ads also exist as an easy-to-use advertising option.
However, initially, Facebook Ads alone should be sufficient.

If you use Google Ads in conjunction, it's good to use a feature called remarketing.
It's a feature that repeatedly displays ads to people who have visited your website once.

Often, no matter which website you visit, the same ad is displayed.
Everyone who uses the internet has probably experienced it at least once, haven't they?

Remarketing doesn't cost much and is relatively effective.
Regarding Google Ads, we will explain it later.

Thoroughly cycle through PDCA and continue to improve website traffic generation.

Once you have built the system this far, then operate it thoroughly, and repeat verification and improvement.
It's the well-known PDCA cycle, isn't it?

What kind of headlines will be liked?
What kind of article writing style will users like and read?

In any case, to improve article quality and attract user interest, we will thoroughly hypothesize and iterate.
If this cycle is thoroughly implemented, prospective customers will naturally gather.

Finally, we will have them inquire and obtain customer information such as their name, address, and phone number.
Then, we will offer users things like gift campaigns and brochure downloads.
We will offer a gift experience as a plan, so that if they register their information via a form, they can receive it.

For futons, something like 'Consultation application for futons' is also fine.
Please send your information via the email form, and let's create a list.
A list of highly sensitive prospective customers will be created.

It's troublesome, but keep trying.

Now, those of you who have read this far might be feeling one thing.

Yes, that it's 'troublesome'.
Moreover, you have to use your brain quite a bit.

'It's troublesome and requires trial and error, so maybe I can't do it.'
Some of you might be feeling that way.

If it's truly too troublesome and seems impossible, honestly, it's probably not for you.
I don't really want to use the phrase 'not for you,' but there are no other words.
There is no easy way in web marketing.
If you could create an automatic customer acquisition system without trial and error or effort, everyone would be a billionaire.

At the very least, it would be better to give up on executing web marketing by yourself.
I think it would be much more successful if you leave it to experts or knowledgeable staff.
However, even if you entrust it, the staff must be well-versed in the "industry".

This is because if they are not well-versed in the "industry", they cannot write articles that resonate with users.
Let's bring in staff who can steadily accumulate articles and updates.

Website traffic generation is by no means an "easy" way to find customers.
Similar to sales earned by footwork, it demonstrates its effectiveness by steadily accumulating efforts.

The biggest advantage is that "accumulation can be done forever".
Articles written and content created do not disappear from the internet.
In other words, the more you accumulate, the more entry points there are to your products and services.
It is a world where "effort is rewarded", yielding tremendous results.

Moreover, with offline methods, it becomes a one-on-one relationship with people.
With a website, you can envision a structure of one article reaching thousands, or tens of thousands of people.

However, you must consider the users who will read your articles properly.
If you don't write good articles for someone, their effect will be zero.

Write many good articles and deliver content for users.
Let's spread it using social networks.
And, to steadily repeat the PDCA cycle for the series of processes.

That is the key to website traffic generation.
Eventually, effects will appear in SEO, and users will start flowing in from organic searches.

Once users continuously start flowing in from social networks and organic search.
You can achieve customer acquisition on your website without relying on advertising.

There aren't many industries where the more you accumulate, the more results you get.
With other methods, even if you accumulate, it often all comes to nothing.

Anyway, those who start early and continue win.
Starting early, thoroughly, and steadily accumulating.
This can be said to be the most important trick for website customer acquisition.
For those who haven't started yet, please give it a try.
