To build good connections. When meeting people, you should forget the ‘law of attraction’.

Hello. This is Kamiyama.

Connections and encounters with people are, in the end, important.
I'm not the type to rely heavily on connections.
Nevertheless, people are often involved in life's turning points.

For example, the catalyst for starting the current entrepreneur training was an encounter with an American investor.
Starting the school sold in Cebu was also an encounter with a real estate agent in the Philippines.

In life, major turning points are always about encounters.
Perhaps it's more about encounters with people than 'connections'.

However, I'm not usually the type to actively seek out connections.
In terms of connections, I only meet people I've decided I want to get along with.
Of course, entrepreneur training activities and related activities are an exception.
I distinguish between people I should meet and those I shouldn't in my mind.

Even if someone tells me I can meet such-and-such a person, I ignore it.
No matter how important the other person is, if I think they are unnecessary for my current self, I won't act.

For example, the representative of a certain major company.
Or a celebrity who appears on TV.

Conversely, if they are unnecessary for my current self, I believe meeting them is a negative.
Because connections erode if you keep refusing 'invitations'.

Someone's invitation is meaningless if it's not related to what I should be doing now.
It just ends up taking up my time, and I waste effort for nothing.

When building connections, make sure you clearly understand 'who you should meet'.

Since you don't know who you should meet, you end up putting yourself out there in various places.
That's like deliberately taking a roundabout way to get results.
It's also akin to a gamble where you go places haphazardly.

If you know who you should meet, the places you need to go are limited.
Declining unnecessary invitations will get you to your goal faster.

Furthermore, maintaining relationships also requires considerable effort.

Once you become close with someone, you need to communicate.
Invitations for various things will come one after another.
However, if you go to unnecessary places, what you should be doing will be delayed accordingly.

However, if you keep declining, relationships will become superficial.
If they become superficial, you'll only leave a bad impression.

Suppose there was a time when such connections became necessary.
Even if you tell someone you haven't contacted for a while, 'I need your help because it's necessary'.

Since you're only vaguely acquainted, you'll become 'someone who only contacts when needed'.
You might end up giving the impression of being a 'cold person'.

In that case, it's easier to get cooperation if you build a relationship from the initial meeting.
It's better to build relationships intensively.

Not being good at these social interactions is also one of the factors reducing productivity.

If you connect, you need to communicate continuously and maintain the relationship.
Connecting halfway is the most awkward.
Therefore, both you and the other person need to meet at the right time for each other.

In this day and age, all the people you need are within reach.

We don't hear about it much anymore, but there was 'the law of attraction,' right?
There are various interpretations, but regarding connections, it means the right people appear when needed.

Originally, it's just a matter of your attention to the people you want to meet increasing.

For example, suppose you wanted to open a bakery and meet a baker.
Then, strangely enough, a baker appears.
People easily call such encounters 'the law of attraction,' but…

It's not something so vague.

The people you needed were already around you.
Or, you had several opportunities to pass by them.
Whatever the connection, whatever the encounter.
In this day and age, everything is connected from somewhere.

Because you unconsciously become aware of it, people who were previously unnoticed come into view.
You've passed by them many times, but until now, there was no reason to meet.
But because you started to be aware, you were simply able to recognize them.

Gaining connections also depends on your own awareness.
It's definitely not the law of attraction or any such power.
It's all up to you.

It's about how clearly you are aware of who you want to meet.
You should not randomly go to places based on the Law of Attraction or vague ideas.
In all cases, if you truly think about how to meet people yourself, you can meet anyone.

Now, you can meet more connections on social networks.
You can now build relationships with tens of times more people than you could traditionally connect with.
It can be said that any kind of connection has become easier to obtain.

By meeting people after careful consideration, you can only meet truly good people.

Sometimes, there are people who think, 'If I show up in various places, I'll eventually meet them!'
They say, 'By the Law of Attraction, you'll surely meet the connections you're looking for.'
Those who act based on a vague image or intuition that they'll somehow meet people.

If you think more about how to meet people yourself, you can meet them sooner.
Because in this day and age, there are countless opportunities to meet anyone.
If you want to meet someone like this, you should carefully consider how to meet them.

Because you're not gambling.

Wandering aimlessly through meeting places is too wasteful.
In that case, you'll connect with people, both good and bad, for better or worse.

If you meet people aimlessly, the probability of meeting troublesome people also increases.
Perhaps some of you can relate to this.

For better or worse, you're attracting various people.
Doesn't that become a great source of stress?

Why do various people, for better or worse, gather?
That's because you haven't properly thought about meeting people yourself.

I have become able to meet the people I want to, when I want to.

Regardless of the Law of Attraction, if you make an effort, you can meet the people you want to.
It's because you properly think with your own mind, 'how can I meet them?'
If you think properly, in this day and age, you can somehow meet them.

What you should rely on more than the Law of Attraction is thinking properly.
Think and think, and find the way to meet them by yourself.
Instead of relying on something vague, thinking 'maybe something will happen' and going there.
By properly thinking for yourself, you will be able to meet only better people.

How you meet people is also a strategy.
It's the same not just for business connections, but also for hobbies and romance.
Let's properly think about how to meet people and build more wonderful connections.
