[Part 9] Does the way you earn money differ completely depending on your mindset? What are your characteristics that you should identify first?

[Part 9] Does the way you earn money differ completely depending on your mindset? What are your characteristics that you should identify first?

Hello. This is Kamiyama.

Today, I will talk about two mindsets for creating a business, whether it's a side business or a startup.
Usually, people who take on the challenge, whether in a side business or a startup, are divided into two mindsets.

One is people who simply have the mindset of 'wanting to earn money'.
They want to be free, and work regardless of place or time.

I think most people in the world fall into this mindset.
Probably, 90% are in this category.

The second is people who have the mindset of 'wanting to evolve society'.
Rather than being interested in money or earning, they are interested in the evolution of society.

They want to create innovation. They want to solve global problems.
Those called global billionaires and innovators are these people.

Depending on which mindset you have, you need to change your business creation strategy.

Even if a 'person who wants to earn money' deceives themselves into thinking they 'want to evolve society', the lie will be exposed.
First, their passion won't be conveyed, and their motivation and drive will be different, so it will be completely seen through.

Conversely, the 'society evolution faction' cannot take the same strategy as the 'money-earning faction'.
This is because, to begin with, they are physiologically unable to accept it.

In such a state, it's impossible to execute a strategy for earning money.
No matter how hard they try, they cannot raise their motivation.

Those who want to evolve society gain both assets and honor. Those who want to earn money enjoy modest luxuries.

If you want to become a modestly wealthy person, you are a 'person who wants to earn money'.
Ultimately, those who acquire significant assets are the people who 'want to evolve society'.

Because education in Japan itself raises people who are safe, the majority have the former mindset.
There are also situations where one can make a living without being innovative.

In Israel, new businesses are constantly being born and thriving.
I think there might have also been a social environment there that forced people to be innovative.

Furthermore, those who 'want to evolve society' will not acquire wealth until they achieve a sale or listing.

Until then, they work without freedom, and ultimately, it's a narrow gate.
The time required has recently become shorter, with a minimum of about 3 years.
However, considerable effort is required.

When you sell or go public, you can acquire overwhelming value in both social status and assets.
Above all, you can leave your mark on society and bring evolution to the world.
You help many people, and your raison d'être is clearly etched.

On the other hand, the 'want to earn' group earns a decent amount on a daily basis.

They run small businesses, make investments, and return it to themselves as cash.
However, since the company itself does not hold great value, assets are moderate.
There's no choice but to put something into investments and cleverly create a mechanism to generate money.

Do you want to earn, or do you want to evolve society?

The way each fights is completely different.
The moment these two are mixed, neither will succeed.

Your path changes with your mindset. There is a way that suits you.

Determine which your own mindset is, and take the appropriate strategy.
That is the foundation for succeeding in side businesses and entrepreneurship, for better or worse.

For example, a strategy that people who want to earn money say, 'This sold!'
Even if people who want to evolve society implement it, it won't work.

Because you can't do it exhaustively.

To get results in something, you have to do it thoroughly.
You need to invest an overwhelming amount of effort and work hard.

What supports that hard work is a fundamental mindset.
Because it depends on the driving force that pushes you towards the ideal you desire.

If those who want to earn money try the methods of those who want to evolve society, the insincerity will be seen through.
Many ideas also have misaligned vectors, making it difficult.

People who want to evolve society cannot do the methods of those who want to earn money.
Because they are fundamentally physiologically unacceptable.

There is often talk about finding a method that suits oneself.
You need to understand your own characteristics and adopt a form that fits well.

Understanding what motivates you and moving forward.
That can also be said to be the foundation for grasping ideals in life.

Mindsets change. However, success after a mindset change comes with high hurdles.

However, it's not as if your current self is everything.
Mindsets can change midway.

When people who want to earn money change to those who want to evolve society.
This is when you meet someone and are influenced, or when you have already finished earning.

Sometimes, influenced by meeting people, you re-evaluate your purpose in life and way of living.
At that time, it's common to change direction, thinking 'I can't go on like this'.

After finishing earning, there are also cases where people want to 'contribute to society this time'.
Rather, most people get bored with what they gain from earning and start aiming for the next thing.

However, the quality of their knowledge and experience in thinking is often about ten steps behind.
They usually start music or fashion businesses and fail.
Earning money and creating the cutting edge or the future operate with completely different mindsets.

As a result, there are many cases where people give up halfway, thinking they are not cut out for it.

On the other hand, the 'want to evolve society' group sometimes transforms into the 'want to earn money' group.

This is when they are overwhelmingly cornered.
It's when they realize they absolutely must secure cash.

However, they fail because their fundamental nature is not specialized in earning money in the first place.
People who are good at earning quickly and people who are skilled at creating the future are different types.
It's often faster to consider receiving investment than to earn money by yourself.

That's different if you already have some specialized knowledge, though.

If you try to earn, it's easy to do so using specialized knowledge.
Like an engineer or a marketer.
Specialized knowledge becomes your 'defense' when you're in a pinch.

Thus, you must change your strategy due to fundamental differences in mindset.
When someone succeeds, people immediately try to imitate their method.

However, if that method doesn't suit your mindset, it's impossible.
Even if you try the exact same method, you will likely fail.

This is because, as explained at the beginning, you won't be able to see it through.
You won't have the motivation to push through with all your might until the end.

That's why it's important to first determine where your mindset lies.

Which mindset do you possess?
Understand yourself thoroughly and choose the path you should take.

Regarding how to proceed after your mindset is determined.
It isThe Textbook for Creating WorkI wrote about it, so please pick it up once.
After understanding your own characteristics, you should be able to specifically understand how to proceed.

As a supplement. If there are no people trying to evolve society, Japan will end.

However, current Japan does not have education that directs mindsets towards 'social evolution'.
People who desire social evolution are probably only about 10% of the total.
If things remain as they are, Japan will sink, so education to increase that 10% to 50% will probably begin.

Finally, if I may say one thing, if the social evolutionists do not increase, Japan will end.

Ending, in an extreme sense, means decline.
While the world is increasingly overflowing with cutting-edge technology, at best, it will become an outdated country.
At worst, it will become unable to maintain even its current infrastructure.

As the population also decreases, it will lose its appeal for foreign companies to enter.
Then, jobs, money, and technology will stop coming in from overseas.
People might say, 'Isn't doing business in Japan meaningless?'

If that happens, jobs will disappear, and the unemployment rate might rise.
Based on the wealthy, taxes will likely also increase.

I don't think there's a future as a developed nation in a future that doesn't aim forward.
I can only imagine a future where everything is lost.

Therefore, I think the current situation where 'those who can do it, should do it' will improve.
Perhaps the cultivation of mindset will be incorporated into education.

That is my prediction.

I've strayed a bit, but are you someone who wants to evolve society, or someone who wants to earn money?
Depending on the difference in mindset, the approach and earning methods will differ.

Considering the current situation, I hope that more people who want to evolve society will emerge.

After considering which one you are, please think about your learning methods and strategies.
Not making a mistake at the beginning leads to fulfilling your ideals.
