Anyone can achieve their ideals! The single ‘one’ reason I absolutely believe that.

Anyone can achieve their ideals! The single ‘one’ reason I absolutely believe that.

Hello. This is Kamiyama.

I'll be going to Canada for a week starting Monday.
I will return on April 10th.

So, my reply might be a little delayed, but please wait patiently.
My blog might also stop for a bit, but please don't forget about it. Lol
If possible, I'll update from there with the next article.

In September, I'll head south from Canada to America.
From there, I'll move further west and travel from Los Angeles to New York by train or car.
I really love traveling, so updating while living a travel lifestyle is also an option.

Now, this time, the topic is 'Even if you're ordinary, you can win'.
It means that everyone has the elements to achieve their ideals.

Before I tell this story, I have to go back a little in time.
I'd like to talk a little about myself, and I'd appreciate it if you'd bear with me.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm just talking about myself and it's annoying.

But if I tell my story, it might be helpful to some of you.

In the past, I was very weak physically, and I started completely below average.

There's a reason why I myself have challenged so many things.
That's because I wanted many people to think, 'I can do it too'.

I was very weak physically in the past.
It was when I was attending kindergarten.
Once a week, I would fall ill with something and go to the hospital.
I remember my grandmother and mother often taking me to the hospital.

Somehow, after that, I attended swimming school and trained my body for six years, overcoming my frailty, but my overall abilities were far inferior to children my age.

When I entered elementary school, all the differences in ability became increasingly apparent.
Being born early in the year, I was smaller than my peers, and I was terrible at both sports and academics, absolutely nothing was good.
When it came to studying, I was quicker counting from the back, and I couldn't do sports at all.
The only sport I practiced, swimming, I became a competitor, but I would get sick from nerves during a race and have to retire, that's how useless I was.
Completely, mentally, physically, intellectually, in every aspect, I was at the very bottom.

In any case, a rock-bottom inferiority complex was born.
Without confidence, my personality also became timid.

Bad at sports and academics, weak physically, and eventually, even communication became poor.
Perhaps there was nothing more 'bad' that could be accumulated.

I learned that even if I was below average in junior high and high school, if I worked thoroughly, I could manage.

But there was salvation.

When I entered junior high, I joined the tennis club.
Since my father was a tennis player, I practiced desperately.
As a result, I was able to reach the top 4 in the prefectural tournament.

Here, I finally gained a successful experience.

It was me, who was weak, completely unable to do sports or academics, and always losing in everything.
Even I, with three years of desperate practice, was able to defeat someone.

This, thankfully, was probably thanks to my father.

When I entered high school, everything about my environment changed.
The teachers and coaches changed, and naturally, my world changed too.

Of course, my grades were once again so bad that it was quicker to count from the bottom.
Even when I tried hard, I was always left behind for supplementary classes.
Especially in math and physics, even though I tried hard to study, I was completely hopeless.
My athletic ability, except for tennis, was exceptionally poor, making me quite a nuisance.

I wonder why that was…

Club activities in high school back then were abnormally sports-oriented, with hellish practices continuing from morning till night.
However, actually, what remains most vividly in my mind from high school life isn't the club activities.

I often wrote novels.
I wanted to become a writer.
So, as soon as tennis was over, I would return home and write novels.

It was a future goal that I was seriously pursuing.
However, amidst all that, there was something a teacher said to me.

"What you write? It would be better if I, who am not even a writer yet, wrote it."

A teacher nowadays probably wouldn't say something like that. Lol
At that moment, I swore in my heart that I would definitely get my revenge.
After that, I continued writing novels for another three years, and when I became a university student, I was able to win a small award.

I was going to say 'serves you right'.
After writing novels for over 10 years, it was finally a victory. (lol)
However, the joy outweighed it, and any desire for revenge had vanished.

This time, I was tormented by an inferiority complex due to my dislike of people, but I managed to strike back.

My next inferiority complex was when I entered university (after various circumstances allowed me to get in) and went to an alumni reunion.
By the way, since I'm not mentioning it here, it's not a good university at all.

At that time, I was terribly bad at human relationships, a nuisance who couldn't read the room.
I was the kind of person who would disrupt the atmosphere whenever I spoke.

You know, those kinds of people exist.
That 'you know, those kinds of people exist' position was me.

On top of that, my only success, tennis, I quit because high school was too painful.

To top it all off, a major incident occurred, and I was plunged into despair.
This is too dark a story, so I'll keep it to myself.

I lost everything and became zero.

Precisely because I was at a state of zero, with nothing, I wanted to study abroad.
Perhaps there was also a feeling of wanting to escape from everything.

Getting back to the alumni reunion.
When asked about my career path, I said I wanted to study abroad to learn English.
Then, the teacher at that time said one thing to me.

'You can't do it. If it were someone like ○○, they might be able to.'

Are there still teachers who say things like this? lol
I was so bad at communicating with people that I'd get such immediate answers.

However, perhaps that's why I swore I'd somehow prove him wrong.
A year later, I decided to study abroad, went to Los Angeles, mastered English in six months, and returned to Japan.

I spent every day immersed in English studies, and especially during the latter half of my time there, I didn't speak a single word of Japanese.
That's why, even though it was incomplete, I was able to gain conversational skills that are usually not achievable in six months.

At that time, I must have intended to prove him wrong, but I forgot about it after returning to Japan.
Later, I was able to acquire the language skills needed to establish a school in the Philippines.

After becoming a working adult, I was labeled as 'someone who can't do their job' and 'someone who lacks consideration.' But I'll become independent with sheer determination.

After becoming a working adult, I was 'a person who couldn't do any work at all.'
The label of 'someone who can't study or play sports' switched to 'someone who can't do their job.'

Even when working part-time at an izakaya, I couldn't notice anything because I wasn't aware of my surroundings.
I was treated like a nuisance… lol

After that, I wanted to work in art, so I worked at a museum, but I was just so clumsy.
I couldn't do any work at all. I really couldn't.
Because I couldn't do it, I lost my motivation and became a troublesome presence.

However, halfway through, I decided I wanted to create something myself and joined a website design company as a contract employee.
Not only was I completely inexperienced, but I also couldn't do the work, so I got scolded a lot.
I couldn't read the room or be considerate, so I was quite a nuisance.

But I hated being unable to do my job, so I kept changing companies but stayed in the same industry.

Then, in my fourth year, I somehow managed to work alone and became independent.
After becoming independent, I was somehow helped by various people, and the rest is as described in the profile at the bottom of the page.

I've lived for 30 years, and 25 of them were filled with inferiority complex. Yet, here I am today.

I was fundamentally a person who was overwhelmingly incapable.

Fundamentally, I was incapable of everything: studying, exercising, and working.
I couldn't read the room, made those around me uncomfortable, and yet I struggled to try and make something happen.

Even I, like that, have now started a business, sold it, and can live freely.
Since I was able to do it, I believe there's no one living in this world who can't.

Everyone, I think, is much more capable than I am.
Everyone I've met so far had overwhelmingly superior thinking skills and ability to get along with others than I did.
Their academic background, grades, and the sparkle of their lives all seemed to shine.

But why is that?

Many people say things like, 'I can't possibly start a business.'
Many friends talked about wanting to earn money, but finding it difficult to initiate something themselves.
They complain, 'I'm too scared to start my own business.'

In that case.

If I could do it, I wanted them to think, 'I should be able to do it too.'
That was the trigger for me to start challenging various things.

I didn't have a single thing that was superior to others.
In fact, I had no good qualities at all, to the point where that was my only boast.
Far from being an ordinary person, I was a complete loser.

However, the reason I was able to challenge myself and seize it was because I knew that 'if you do it thoroughly, you can overcome it'.
My physical condition, sports, novels, English, and even my personality – if I put in thorough effort, I could overturn them.

I've never been told 'You can't do it' and then ended up not being able to do it.

I didn't earn hundreds of millions with a smart mind like someone else.
After becoming a working adult, it's not like I was good at my job or that my independence went smoothly.
I've lived for 30 years, and for 25 of those years, I've lived with nothing but a constant feeling of inferiority.

Even someone like me could do it if I did it thoroughly.
That's why I think anyone can do it.

That is the single 'one' reason I believe anyone can achieve their ideals.

The same goes for side jobs.
The same goes for starting a business.

Absolutely, anyone should be able to do it.
If you work thoroughly hard, there's nothing you can't achieve.

After all, all results in this world are a culmination.
It's about how quickly and focused you can accumulate.

I hope to help everyone as much as possible.
It's difficult for free, but I'll rack my brains to make it easy.

Please don't give up, thinking you can't do it no matter what.
Please don't look down, thinking it's too difficult for you.

You might get a little tired along the way, but please keep going.
I'm sure you can succeed at anything, whether it's a side job or starting a business.

Well then, I'll try to update something tomorrow if possible, and then I'm off to Canada.
I'll try my best to update something if I can.
