Act rather than think. Success will never come to those who overthink.

Hello. This is Kamiyama.
I usually create and sell businesses.

Let me introduce a common bad pattern. Often, when working together, there's a pattern where people say, 'It's not yet at a publishable level,' and keep postponing the launch of their business.

Here's one thing I want to ask loudly.

Are you perhaps seeking a level that's only for your own self-satisfaction?

What exactly is the level that person considers 'publishable'? In the first place, what your own values judge is limited. No, of course, if it's something truly original, with overwhelming foresight and charisma like Steve Jobs, and capable of demonstrating overwhelming speed even in the world's largest corporations, then it's fine. Rely on that intuition.

However, most people are not like that. I am also like that. Even if I'm absolutely sure something will work, in reality, it can be out of sync with public perception. It should be absolutely good, but it's not understood. Such things happen. If someone has tremendous charisma, they might still get people to pick it up, thinking, 'That person finally made a move!' but most people are not like that.

Ultimately, you won't know until you try it.

Only by releasing it to the world will you first understand if the fundamental direction is correct, if it's in demand, and what kind of reactions you'll receive. Your own values and images are merely internal to yourself, and they often differ from the values held by others more than you imagine.

I want this, I want that. These are often your own desires, not what others are seeking. To then declare that it's not going as you wish, or that the quality hasn't reached that level, and endlessly postpone its release – there's nothing more foolish than that.

If you want to do that, then please try to create an overwhelming charisma and a huge number of fans who will be interested because it's your own value. Once you've created it to a certain extent, you should quickly release it once and see the reaction. You might even realize that you're fundamentally wrong.

However, of course, it's also important to stick to your beliefs. It is absolutely crucial to 'believe completely that this will definitely be a good service.' In fact, as someone creating a business, you must be like that. If you bend the future you envision just because you're told 'no' a little, you'll never succeed. All the good services in this world were initially things everyone kept saying were 'absolutely impossible.' Yet, those who didn't give up are the ones who win.

However, the point is not to mistake the direction of your belief. If you continue to be particular with your own unique values before trying it out, then you must become a charismatic figure yourself and have fans.

Was Steve Jobs's particularity on the iPhone something others could have achieved? No. It was precisely because of him that he meticulously pursued his values down to the smallest detail, and because he was so particular, it gained value, and everyone bought it. They bought Jobs's particularity. Before gaining such 'human power,' seeking the same kind of particularity as Jobs is merely a waste of time. It ends with 'whether you like it or not, or if it's easy to use, depends on the person.'

Fundamentally, you need to consider who the product is for. Is it for the entrepreneur? No. It's for the customers and users. We create businesses and jobs for the people who use them. Therefore, quality that is complete within one's own values can be released to the world and turn out to be worthless.

Of course, we seek quality. However, it is by receiving actual feedback that we should scrutinize what to improve and make selections. Trying to aim for a growing service without real voices or feedback is like saying you can create a powerful miracle that happens only once in a hundred years.

For whom are we building our business? It is not to satisfy the entrepreneur's ego. Everything is to make the people who use it happy. It is to improve their lives.
