Productivity doubles!? True potential and possibilities born from management and efficiency.

In my early days as a freelancer, I hardly managed any projects at all. However, as my workload increased, I began to clearly feel the importance of management. Without management, I couldn't set clear priorities, and I was constantly being chased by work. In this state, I couldn't see anything 'beyond' just getting through my daily tasks, so I decided to rethink my entire approach to work.

If you can only see the work directly in front of you, you can't get an overview of your own situation, which only leads to waste. As a result, you don't have the leeway to try new things. It's not about information or knowledge, but about being unable to respond to actual events happening around you. It's about being unable to invest your knowledge and experience in interesting things. This is an immeasurable waste.

Thorough time management brings great efficiency to work. Also, thoroughly managing the tasks you currently have. It's basic, but don't postpone work that can be done now. And, carefully examine the work you should take on and make a plan.

There are many other points I improved, such as thoroughly thinking about ways to increase efficiency, eliminating wasted time, and utilizing IT tools. However, the biggest change has probably been since I started managing everything properly. And, making solid plans. I'll summarize the improvements and their benefits later.

Anyway, I once thoroughly organized the issues of time, work, and tasks. Then, the world I saw became like a different world. Work efficiency increased, quality improved, and productivity dramatically rose. Increased productivity created time, allowing me to pay attention to my surroundings.

I felt a little regretful, thinking that there were so many things I could have invested in, but I had overlooked them because I hadn't managed or optimized until now.

What was good about having more time was being able to afford to invest in possibilities. When talking about an interesting challenge with someone and deciding to do it together, in the past, I would have shaken my head, citing busyness as the reason.

However, now I can tackle it with full effort. If the content is interesting and the partner can move forward, I can quickly launch a project, make a plan, and actually bring it to fruition. My daily life is constantly filled with fresh challenges that I can execute. There's nothing more interesting than this.

However, as a prerequisite, it is important to have the skills, knowledge, and know-how to participate in all kinds of businesses and opportunities. In my case, knowledge of web production, marketing, business development, and startups paid off, allowing me to create an environment where I can fully demonstrate my abilities no matter which industry I enter. Honestly, I think professions like management consultants, who thoroughly refine knowledge and know-how rather than just technical skills, can operate with even greater freedom.

So, currently, multiple businesses are launching simultaneously. Yet, I still have enough resources to write blog posts. Since I have time, I think daily, 'Please give me many more stories!' Human potential, if management and efficiency are properly utilized, can truly enable us to do things we couldn't do before.

Having a solid organization of work as a foundation. This is the minimum requirement to unleash 100% of your work potential. For those who have actually implemented it, it might seem like stating the obvious. Oh, I wish I had realized it sooner, and how inefficiently I must have been working before.

Especially for sole proprietors and those working on a contract basis, I think many people are overwhelmed with work. Even when talking to them, it seems they can't make time and can't challenge new things. Since there's a labor shortage everywhere now, good talent, once secured, is rarely let go.

Therefore, it might be necessary to consider creating time that was thought to be nonexistent by improving one's work style and time management itself somewhere.

Project and work management and efficiency. These are often put off because they are not directly involved in creating products or completing tasks. However, once you master them, you can create an overwhelming number of possibilities.

The conclusion that Japanese people have low productivity for the amount of time they work has long been established. Japan's productivity is the lowest among developed countries. In reality, given these results, it's undeniable that there's a fundamental flaw in the current work style, way of working, and approach to work, but perhaps most people are unwilling to address it.

That being said, I also feel that cultural, social, and other factors unrelated to work (such as perfectionism or inefficient organizational systems) are involved in the background of being last. Nevertheless, since the world is increasingly viewing us as having poor production efficiency, we must take that seriously and consider making improvements.

Above all, thanks to improved productivity through proper management, I now have a much more enjoyable life. I want to continue approaching my work with such a positive mindset.
