Since I advocate for remote work, I'm reading articles related to remote work. Most parts of a company's functions, other than the core, can probably just be made remote. I don't think there are that many jobs that absolutely need to be done at the office. It's fine to get results, no matter if you slack off or what you do. If that's the most fundamental principle of society.

Wasted time and wasted activities are eliminated with the times. The fact that more and more companies are accepting remote work might mean we're in an era where the necessity of being in the office is being questioned. Therefore, if you're interested in remote work, please check it out.

Berlin was a good place to move to. I want more information like this.

There isn't as much information as one might imagine about where it's easy to work or live overseas. I wish there were more people who actually went there and shared information. I hadn't paid much attention to Berlin before, so it sounds interesting.

However, if I were to live overseas, I'm not the type who would want to settle in one place. I'd like to work in various places, moving around the world. I'd also like to verify how much effort and money it actually takes to travel between various places for short periods.

You can even live on a train! The story of a female university student who lives on a train every day.

It's a bit different from remote work. But in the sense of working without settling in one place, this might also be an option. It sounds very tiring though. But it's amazing that she has a pass for unlimited domestic train rides. If you want to travel by train, a lifestyle like hers might be the best.

Considering how remote work will evolve in the future, the number of people living a life without staying in one place will probably increase. Currently, there are also more people who don't feel the need to buy a home or rent an apartment/condo. I'd like to try a train journey for a few days.

Recruit-wide implementation! The mechanism of remote work.

The topic returns to Japan. Finally, even large corporations have started implementing it. What changes have occurred by introducing flexible working styles? Honestly, the most efficient way to work is to only work when you're in the mood to work. Working when you're terribly sleepy, or not being able to go home even after work is done just because it's regular hours. It's a waste.

When work is done, you should go home early; if you're sleepy, you should sleep and work when your mind is awake. Having to start work at a time when you can't perform effectively, just because you're at the office, is truly a waste. I think it's better to introduce remote work more and more.

Moreover, I think there's a risk of communication, but improving this is about getting used to it. Getting used to remote work. Holding meetings via video call or Skype, and communicating to a certain extent. People say it's easier to communicate closely when you're next to each other, but I think that's half an excuse. An excuse for what? In other words, if you have the ability to properly summarize your thoughts and convey to the other person when something is needed, and if your management skills are high, there's no inconvenience at all.

Of course, there are times when brainstorming or close discussions are necessary, and when it's better to talk face-to-face. Such situations exist. But not always. Most of the time, work can be accomplished without meeting face-to-face. Most direct communication can be replaced by LINE or Skype. Or Facebook. Within the company, there's no need to even use the phone. Even externally, if your business partner uses Skype, it's better to use Skype.

By making full use of technology, traditional internal communication can be supplemented. It's better to use whatever is available and evolve society towards more efficient ways of working. In that regard, I thought, 'Recruit, well done, woohoo!' I hope more companies do this.

Remote work and 'women's way of working' are more closely linked than imagined.

Article :https://libinc.jp/articles/pr/2014-1202

Women's way of working. For those who want to do their favorite work while accomplishing various things in their private lives, such as childcare, pregnancy, childbirth, and family. Not everyone is the type who thinks, 'If I have a job, life is wonderful! Work is my lover!' There are various forms of happiness.

So, the point we should consider now is how to help women fulfill their wishes while also allowing them to demonstrate their potential at work. If we only look at what's directly in front of us and don't properly invest in these perspectives, Japan's talented individuals will only be buried.

Therefore, the introduction of remote work overwhelmingly helps women's way of working. Or rather, it helps the family environment. Given that there are also lives where men do housework, laundry, childcare, etc., at home while women go out to work, this isn't just limited to women. Spending more time with children, always keeping the home clean, improving the living environment, reducing misunderstandings between spouses, and so on. By enabling remote work, people can work while fully experiencing happiness in their family life.

In an era where diversity and varied working styles are advocated, remote work is undoubtedly a core methodology for enriching modern society. There are many jobs that need to be done by a certain period (or rather, most jobs now?), and honestly, I don't really understand the meaning of doing such tasks at the office. In reality. I believe there were aspects where we focused too much on communication, making it inefficient and not particularly beneficial. Without a doubt.

Summary

From now on, times will continue to change rapidly. Methods of communication will also change. Of course, the nature of work will also change. Even how money is earned will see many evolutions from now on. Remote work is one such evolution, and it is likely a door that was desired but could not be opened until now.

Finally, I'd like to introduce an iconic article. There's a company called Buffer, and they thoroughly utilize technology to achieve efficient remote work. I believe it's an iconic system where, thanks to the advancement of technology, people can communicate from anywhere in the world.

For example, they use original tools for employees to keep track of who is doing what work and where. Through video chats, they have lively conversations despite being in different locations. Remote work is actually often thought of as lonely, but if you properly connect with each other using tools, you can create an environment that's almost no different from working in the same office.

What I often do is leave Skype connected. Try spending a day with Skype connected to a colleague. Eventually, you won't notice it anymore, and it will feel like you're talking to your partner on the other end of Skype without any discomfort. As if you're in the same office or the same space. It's all about getting used to it. If you get used to communicating remotely, it's certainly not an image of being alone.

So, remote work will continue to increase more and more from now on. Or rather, I hope it increases more and more. And I hope it brings many choices to individual freedom and ways of life. It's become an interesting era.
