The only reason why entrepreneurs should acquire web production skills.

The only reason why entrepreneurs should acquire web production skills.

It's too slow, isn't it? This is the reason.

By the way, I'll assume the case of creating something from scratch in a BtoC business for now.

For example, if you notice something that needs improvement here right now, and what you noticed is reflected three days later, it's too slow. By then, you've missed three days' worth of feedback. If you had made the correction the moment you noticed it, you would have accumulated three days' worth of data three days later and would have already started analyzing it.

Ultimately, service and business development is about rapidly cycling through data collection, analysis, and correction. For example, in the case of a web service, data is collected a few days after launch, and analyzing that data reveals areas for improvement. This is then rapidly reflected in the service, and data is acquired and analyzed again. It's necessary to do this as thoroughly and quickly as possible.

If possible, the product should also be developed simultaneously and as quickly as possible.

By the way, there are countless companies around the world that are actually using this method for development, and most of them are continuing to grow significantly. Gradually, competitors who cannot keep up with that speed will be eliminated. It is an effective means to achieve significant growth.

If minor changes require an estimate and are reflected 1-2 weeks later, it can be said that this overwhelmingly slows down the inherent growth rate of the business. And you will fall behind services that can rapidly iterate on improvements, eventually realizing that your service has become outdated.

However, if you entrust this speed to outsourced programmers or designers, you will end up using the outsourced party's resources solely for your own business. You should prepare a large enough budget for the other company to sustain itself or to have a dedicated team. Otherwise, the outsourced party would not accept it. If they did, they would be like a suicide volunteer.

Therefore, if you want to adopt a method of rapidly iterating on improvements and analysis, it is important to either prepare a budget large enough to fully integrate outsourcing partners as part of your team, or to have an in-house team that can rapidly conduct analysis and improvements.

However, when you first start a business, at the moment you launch it, you naturally don't have money. If you've successfully raised significant funds, you might have some leeway, but even then, the budget won't be unlimited. While struggling with cash flow, can you gather marketers, designers, and engineers, form a team, and proceed with rapid analysis and improvements? Usually, it's impossible or takes a long time, just to gather the members.

If, by good fortune, someone who can handle both marketing and technical aspects independently joins your team, there might be a possibility. However, in most cases, salary payments will be incurred. If an entrepreneur is incredibly charismatic, persuasive, and has a stroke of luck to meet such a person, there's a chance. But how many people experience such luck?

If the entrepreneur themselves can do all of 'data collection, analysis, and improvement,' then everything is solved. You can launch your own business, rapidly analyze and make corrections, and collect data. If you also know marketing methods, you'll be able to make even more advanced improvements. And it's free.

Unless you get lucky and find someone, or are good at raising massive funds, you have no choice but to acquire these skills yourself. And once you've mastered them, you can do whatever you want. You can launch a service even by yourself, rapidly improve it, and increase the precision of customer acquisition. You can challenge the market with cutting-edge methodologies.

That's why I recommend entrepreneurs acquire website creation skills. In the initial stages, do it yourself, and once it grows and profits increase, then you can start delegating. This way, you increase the possibility of doing it with your own funds without needing investment, and you can grow your business at your own pace.

With services that have recently become popular worldwide, it's becoming more common for entrepreneurs themselves to be engineers. In the early stages, that's one of the best qualities for being able to develop your business as you envision it. Please, don't turn away thinking you're not cut out for technology; try to acquire the skills. The future of growing fastest with the smallest team is right there.

There are discussions like 'entrepreneurs have other jobs to do,' but in the initial stages, what else is there to do besides product development, improvement, and marketing?

Methods like asking someone who can attract customers will be eliminated by the speed of the internet. Fundraising? If possible, it's better to do it with your own funds, and even for gathering teammates, there's no need to unnecessarily expand once a minimum number has gathered.

How fast will things get? Business speed is constantly increasing, and it's become an incredible era.
