STOP! Overconfidence in connections! If you want to attract customers to your website, minimize ‘socializing’.
There was a time when it was said that networking was everything in business.
However, times change. Now, it's no exaggeration to say that the more you rely on networking, the more wasted time passes by.
As a matter of fact, ever since I stopped focusing on networking, the sales of the businesses I'm personally involved in have been constantly increasing. Why are profits increasing even though I stopped meeting people?
There is a clear reason for this.
Now, web marketing is becoming the fundamental way to improve business sales. And if you ask what the basics of web marketing are, it's "writing articles."
As a clear example, try to imagine earning income through affiliate marketing.
In the case of affiliate marketing, the more articles you write, the more your income will steadily increase. Simply put, income is proportional to the amount of work.
Or, let's say you launch your own web service.
If you ask how to increase sales, it's no exaggeration to say it can be divided into two choices: either 'constantly publish interesting articles and content to be read by many people' or 'steadily run advertisements'.
There is no reason here why networking is necessary.
Even if you meet and talk to people, what exactly will it do for website marketing?
If that can generate advertising costs or become material for articles, then it might have some meaning.
However, if you just blindly meet people, and it's not reflected in some form on your website, you cannot gain customer attraction effects.
In fact, even in the businesses I myself have launched, even quite expensive products, ranging from 200,000 yen to 2,000,000 yen, can be sold steadily through the website.
Networking has never been necessary for that.
A long time ago, networking directly led to customer acquisition. That was because you could directly get customer referrals or get introductions to media that would cover you, and networking was an action that directly led to customer acquisition.
Certainly, even now, for service industries and high-value services that require person-to-person interaction, networking is necessary. Depending on the business you are developing, I don't deny that networking can be effective.
However, now that you can start any number of new businesses using a website. And now that most services and products in this world can attract customers through a website.
Rather than meeting people, continuously providing interesting content on your website is clearly what leads to customer attraction and sales.

If you're going to go out and build connections, first, let's learn programming.
Instead of spending time meeting many people, let's learn website creation skills and writing skills.
By creating services with websites and programming, and promoting customer acquisition by writing blogs with writing skills. With that, it becomes possible for even one person to launch everything from products to sales channels, from lead generation to sales.
If meeting people becomes important, it will be after that.
For example, when receiving investment or involving more people to organize, connections might be necessary. However, whether to go that far is up to you.
The reason I write such content on my blog is that there is no end to cases where people starting businesses indiscriminately begin to seek connections.
Without setting any particular goal, haphazardly, as if thinking that meeting people will somehow work out, many people simply continue to meet others in vain.
Without a purpose, no matter how many connections you make, they won't be useful. Connections become useful only when there is a clear purpose and you desire the necessary personnel to achieve it.
Until a purpose for meeting someone arises, let's allocate the time and expenses for meeting people to learning website creation, programming, writing, and studying marketing.
Thoroughly developing your own services and products comes first. Once it's ready for release, let's build a lead generation funnel using content such as articles and videos. Connections come after that.
And if you intend to build connections, always have a purpose.
If you indiscriminately expand your connections, you will end up wasting time. You might be invited to unproductive drinking parties, or forced to participate in meaningless activities, only consuming time and money.
While you are doing that, your rivals are steadily disseminating content to the world, and gradually building a foundation for customer acquisition.
While being swayed by the words 'connections are important' and engaging in unproductive activities, they are diligently writing articles, accumulating content, advancing service development, and immersing themselves in work.
And when you suddenly realize it, someone next to you will likely have built a system that can attract customers from their website even without speaking.
What's important is not gathering connections, but building a system. To do that, you must invest a lot of effort. Those who invest as much effort as possible will ultimately gain the power to live freely.
There's no need to deliberately offer the effort of diligently building a system to meaningless drinking parties or social interactions. If you have such time, simply immerse yourself in your work.
Don't over-rely on connections, and calmly determine what you should truly be doing.
In the first place, I believe connections are not something you go looking for, but rather something that comes to you as a result of doing good work.
