Indeed, many people are unsure and get lost when they don't know what to do first.
Rather, only a very small number of people have decided 'this is what I want to do' from the beginning.
Don't worry. It's normal not to know.

What to do when you don't know what to do.
The keyword for finding what you want to do is always 'reverse calculation'.

First, instead of thinking about what you want to do as a side job, you work backward from 'what kind of life you want to live' in the future.
Do you understand for yourself 'what kind of life you want to live' in the future?
Perhaps you can understand a little better if you think about 'what kind of life you want to live' rather than 'what you want to do.'

• I want to live while traveling the world.
• I want to live a slow life, perhaps growing vegetables in the countryside.
• I want to be able to work from home, focusing on raising children.
• I want to be able to live without worrying about money.
• I want to live a cool life where I can contribute to society.
• I want to emigrate and live overseas.

If you think about your own desires and way of life, several needs will emerge.
Ultimately, you should choose a side job that is most relevant to those desires and your way of life.

For example, if you want to live while traveling the world, you should choose a side job related to travel.
In fact, if you think about it in various ways, several ideas will emerge.
Communities like "Places I want to visit before I die! World's Most Beautiful Scenery" are famous, aren't they?
That's one of the travel-based businesses, and it now has many supporters.

I want to live a slow life while growing vegetables in the countryside.
Perhaps a business could be born from the idea of a home garden.
If you want to live in the countryside, it's a good idea to start a side job related to the countryside while you're still in the city.
Because what you're doing in the city can continue to be your work in the countryside.

I want to be able to work from home, focusing on raising children.
There are plenty of jobs you can do from home.
It's good to study programming or design.
